Click Dip Switch Watches - The Nerdiest Watches in the World!

Spanking New Brand!

"These Click watches are probably the nerdiest timepieces we have ever seen. And we love them."

Charlie Sorrel, Editor - Wired

These new watches are reaching back into the glory days of electronics for their inaugural Dip Switch and Turn Switch timepiece collections. If you look at the circuit boards of any 80's arcade game or electronic device, you'd find these switches. Designed to be used on a printed circuit board along with other electronic components and are commonly used to customize the behavior of an electronic device for specific situations.
Click Watches have ingeniously re-appropriated these 'retro-tronics' into an entirely new way to show digital watch functions. Each mechanical switch activates a different function of the watch as seen in the diagrams in the product pages. Functions ranging from bar graph metered time display, 12 hour and 24 hour digital time display, month, date, day of week and backlight. Stainless steel casing 42mm x 35mm. One of the best features is the actual circuit board packaging, see below...

Click Watches are available exclusively at!

Mr. Jones The Accurate 'Remember You Will Die' Watch is now a Clock!

Click image to view the Accurate

The Time of your life!

Mr Jones The Accurate "Remember you will Die" is now a Clock

On this clock the hour hand reads "remember" and the minute hand "you will die". The dial of the clock is mirrored, reflecting the viewer in the clock face and making it clear that the message is directed at all of us. The clock is a link to the traditional 'memento mori' - an object designed to remind us that life is brief and that we should make the most of the time we have.
The Accurate is the first clock from Mr Jones Watches, the design is based on our best selling watch of the same name. The hands of the clock are laser cut into the letters and then painted on both sides (so that the text can be seen in the mirror-image on the dial).

New Mr. Jones Cyclops Watches "Summer Nights" for Men and Women

Cyclops Summer Nights

Cyclops Summer nights is a special edition version of Mr. Jones Watches most popular designs - the Cyclops. This version has a black case and dial with an alternate arrangement of the colored hour markers. This is the unisex version of the design - it's also available in a smaller ladies dress-watch size.

The idea with Cyclops is that it can be read with a relaxed kind of accuracy - after all most of us don't need to know that it's 4:43 and 27 seconds, we need to know that it's about a quarter to five. The design dispenses with the conventional hour, minute and seconds hand; instead the time is read by observing the position of the white hoop as it moves around the colored dial.

New Alessi Jak Watches from Designer Karim Rashid

Alessi Jak Watches by Karim Rashid
(the follow up to his hugely successful Alessi Kaj watches)

Functions include time display (hours, minutes, seconds) and calendar display (month, date). A backlight can be activated by a press of the button (A) on the left side. Auto calendar function: The calendar adjusts automatically at the end of a month including February of leap years. To be a simple watch, not only in design, but in ease of use, functions are kept to a carefully chosen minimum.

Simple case
Buttons to operate the digital displays are integrated into the case. Operation requires only the pushing of tiny dots on the side of the case.

Original styling

The case, band and buckle are made of soft, seamless urethane. The form is simple but making full use of the sensual, curved surface, characteristic of KARIM.

This casual watch fits the wrist of any person.
Along with the genderless case design, there are 11 holes for size adjustment, enabling women with even very thin wrists to wear it enjoyably.

"I believe that it is important to not necessarily over-embellish objectsto keep a certain truth to a product, but I also believe that objects needs to touch our sensual side, they need to elevate certain experience, and they need to be human. I also believe that objects should be casual, simple, soft, but precise. I placed an analog mechanism in a perfect ovaloid that is symbolic of technology, the cosmos, passage and cyclic nature of Time. I think of my proposal as an extension of essensualism (reductive sensualism)."  - Karim Rashid

Karim Rashid is a leading figure in the fields of product, interior, fashion, furniture, lighting design and art.  Born in Cairo, half Egyptian, half English, and raised in Canada, Karim now practices in New York.  He is best known for bringing his democratic design sensibility to the masses.
