The Nevil

The Nevil was Triwa's way of adding a little more sophistication to a chronographs without losing out on the functionality. And a quite fine job they did too, if you don’t mind us saying so? It also marked the start of our love affair with the first-class Swedish tannery Tärnsjö, a collaboration that’s still going strong. The Nevil is a real cornerstone of the TRIWA experience.

The Niven

This unisex leather & NATO strap watch features an engraved dial with a orange or blue roundel, a high contrast second hand, silver hour index markers and an inner ring displaying seconds. The watch is set within a turtle acetate case with steel case back, mineral glass and a silver fixed bezel.

The Lomin

A unisex hand-cut acetate watch featuring a black dial with eggshell numbers and second hand. A black inner ring is displaying minutes and seconds with white numbers and markers.

Rose Gold Nevil with Mesh Strap

Rose Nevil is a full metal masterpiece. When the decision to go metal was made we wanted to conceptualize the idea of the material, by making all detailing in rose colored finish. The only exception is the second hand which has an expressive red colour. The watch features a rose colored sunray dial and chronograph sub dials, a high contrast red second hand, rose hour index markers and an inner ring displaying minutes.

Devon Tread 2 Watches in Production at Brand New Pasadena Facility & Design Lab

DEVON is working hard on the Tread 2 production by recently acquiring a spectacular building in Pasadena, California for their hi tech lab. The location of Pasadena, a Los Angeles County university town, was carefully selected as it is the home to world-renowned schools such as CalTech, and the Art Center College of Design. Neighbors also include NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The building will be DEVON’s new corporate headquarters, production center and design lab.

DEVON has also hired a new Production Manager, John Thomas, who brings many years of manufacturing experience to the brand. He is assembling a team of production engineers and watch assemblers, and DEVON is on track with the production and assembly of the Tread 1 and 2. This move will assist DEVON in making a dramatic improvement in quality control and customer satisfaction.

Devon Tread 2 continues to use of the Tread 1's patented movement technology employing an innovative system of fiberglass-reinforced nylon Time Belts.  The belts are only 2/1000th's of an inch thick and are a technology appropriated directly out of the cockpits of airliners like the Boeing 747 where they indicated vital measurements such as air speed and fluid levels.  the belts are mounted on a central chassis and driven by two extremely compact microstep motors.  These motors and all other watch functions are controlled by a microcontroller, essentially an extremely compact computer inside the heart of the watch.  Loaded with DEVON's proprietary software, this computer manages all of the timepiece's functions and ensure precision time-keeping, the preliminary testing of which indicates an unusually accurate tolerance of only one half-second per day.

About Devon Works, LLC
Led by founder Scott Devon and headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Devon Works, LLC is a design lab dedicated to creating innovative luxury products that exemplify the American spirit. Devon Works began with the design of the exclusive Devon GTX supercar and continued with the revolutionary Tread line of timepieces.

Nixon October Luxe Heritage

Built tough like the steel it's forged in, The October is custom made of grit, guts and uncompromising function. With an inventive case design, domed magnifying crystal and crafted leather band, it may not look like your grandpa's watch, but he'd be damn proud to wear it.

Inspired by the clocks used in American submarines, the October is no-nonsense style with the high-grade custom construction to match.

Nixon 51-30 Chrono Luxe Heritage

With superior functionality

It’s simple: functionality sheathed in some of the most rugged and sophisticated cases you’ll find anywhere. With an impressive outlay of utility on each watch’s dial, the 51-30 Chronograph will hold up to anything. It's an uncompromising design for exacting situations, and stylish enough for those who want to look good throughout.

Nixon Corporal Luxe Heritage

A forceful display of superior style.

The new Corporal takes command. Stripped of all but the essential function of keeping true time, the Corporal distinguishes itself as a leader. The strategic blend of high-caliber construction and disciplined design result in a forceful display of superior style. Reporting for duty is a watch that's simply, functional and rugged: the all new Corporal. With a Horween leather or canvas band, stainless and enamel case and a no-fuss, modern face design, it's tough enough to see you through your most hardcore assignments - and good enough to sport off-duty.

Nixon Sentry Luxe Heritage

This beautiful Sentry made of durable 316L stainless steel is certainly the highlight of this amazing product. It took designers and engineers a heck of a lot of work to bring this pure shape alive. The result is an object that, seen from all angles, is perfectly symmetrical.

Nixon 51-30 Gunmetal & Titanium Lume

The best for last!

There's classic, and there's stuck in the past. There's timeless, and there's timelessness that adapts to changing times. With an unwavering focus to make our best even better, Nixon took their anthem, the 51-30, and brought it forward. We kept the same burly design and molded dial features that made the 51-30 a Nixon favorite for years, and we joined them with a flyweight titanium construction. This, combined with a hardened mineral crystal, make this watch the lightest and strongest model in the 51-30 family. The result is a timepiece that takes tradition to an nontraditional place.

Swiss Made Slow Watches at Watchismo -- Don't Chase Every Minute...

Slow is not a speed, it's a mindset that most of us somehow lost...

Slow watches were created to shift the way people read time. So rather than focusing on the second or the minute they have produced a Swiss made instrument that measures the moment.

As a result of our busy lifestyles, we often forget that we actually have a choice of how to live. The slow watch is a subtle reminder that time is the most precious thing we have so we should enjoy everything we do and stop chasing every minute.

In order to be a true symbol of this idea, the slow watch has only one hand that rotates once every 24 hours. It actually moves at half the speed of a normal watch, but allows you to see the progress of your entire day at a glance.

During the first days it might feel a bit unusual to have only one hand indicating the time. But don’t worry, you will get used to it very quickly and start appreciating this much more natural way of showing the time. With only one glance at your watch, you will immediately get a good orientation of where you stand in your day. Taking a normal look, you will get a precise enough indication of the time.

Every index shows a 15 minutes time bracket

This beautiful object -made of durable 316L stainless steel- is certainly the highlight of this amazing product.
It took designers and engineers a heck of a lot of work to bring this pure shape alive. The result is an object that, seen from all angles, is perfectly symmetrical.

For example, look at the case from the side and you will realize that the edges on the upper and lower parts have exactly the same proportions.

The slow watches are manufactured in Switzerland - the country where the art of watch making was invented. It is where true quality, artisan precision and attention to detail is achieved by doing things in a slow and thorough way. Therefore, we think Switzerland and slow watches are a great match! And it will ensure that you guys get the best possible product and are happy with it for a very long time.

Rosendahl Watches by Arne Jacobsen & PICTO Mystery Dial Timepieces

Arne Jacobsen Watches for Rosendahl of Denmark

Based upon the iconic Arne Jacobsen Wall Clocks – Banker’s, Roman and City Hall – Rosendahl is now introducing these design icons as wrist watches. The collection has been created in accordance with the original strokes of the master, as scaled-down streamline ultra-thin wristwatch versions of the wall clocks.

In 1942, the internationally acclaimed Danish architect & designer Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) created the Roman wall clock for Aarhus City Hall, followed in 1956 by City Hall for Rødovre City Hall. Fifteen years later, in 1971, Arne Jacobsen designed Banker’s for the national bank of Denmark. Today, these three clocks for three striking buildings amount to a substantial contribution to three decades of modernistic design history.

Grand design in a slim package

As with the wall clocks, the dial and the front part of the case are produced as a single piece. Accordingly, the time graduations are imprinted directly on the dial. The wrist watches also have the same concave shape as the wall clocks. Similarly, the watch movement is located at the rear, and this part not only serves to retain the movement but also partly to retain the strap. The black, waxed calf leather strap is held in place using a system specially developed by Rosendahl for the collection.

Mid-Century Modernist

As an architect and an industrial designer, Jacobsen always strove to achieve this grace and coherence. In the process, he emerged as the single most influential Danish architect of the 20th century and the designer of such modernist classics as the Swan, Egg and Ant Chairs as well as the stainless steel, abstract-shaped cutlery which the director Stanley Kubrick chose as timelessly futuristic props for his film, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Rosendahl PICTO Watches

PICTO means picture, of course, so it is an excellent choice as the name of this watch. With its clean, minimalist graphic lines, PICTO represents a distinct picture of time in a way that no other watch does.

At the same time, its technical design is unique for a wristwatch.

The hour is indicated by a dot on the rotating dial, while the minutes are indicated by a conventional hand. PICTO was the first wristwatch created according to this rotating disk principle.

Scandinavian Simplicity

Part of Rosendahl's inspiration is their legacy. They stay true to classic Danish watch designs – both the famous and the forgotten – and ensure that they live on by providing high quality and relevant designs.

Rosendahl also nurtures future design classics by encouraging and challenging today’s most interesting designers to try their hand at watch design.
