Mr. Jones Vingt Mille & Tour Du Monde - Classic Journeys Through Time...

Classic Journeys Through Time

Just In! New Tour Du Monde & Vingt Mille from Mr. Jones Watches

These two watches were created for Mr. Jones by multi-talented designer and illustrator Fanny Shorter. She drew inspiration from the adventure stories of Jules Verne: One watch shows the battle with the giant squid from '20,000 Leagues Under The Sea', the other has Phileas Fogg racing to make it 'Around The World In 80 Days'.

Mr. Jones Vingt Mille Watch

In homage to the fearless Captain Nemo, this watch shows the dramatic attack of the giant squid from 20,000 leagues under the sea ("Vingt mille lieues sous les mers" in the original title). The endless battle between squid and man depicts the time, from hour to hour each appears to be gaining the upper hand. The two men being held by the squid indicate the hours and minutes.
The winding crown of this watch is specially signed with Captain Nemo's initial "N".

Mr. Jones Tour Du Monde

Inspired by the adventures of Phileas Fogg in “Around the world in 80 days” (or "Tour Du Monde en 80 Jours" in the original French). Two modes of transport mark the time around a central globe. The position of the ship indicates the hours and the balloon the minutes. The constant motion around the world creates an ever changing picture on the watch face of this very unique watch.

Mr. Jones Wants vs. Needs - Limited Edition His & Hers Watches

Act Fast, Just 25 His & Hers Available!

New Limited Edition Wants vs. Needs from Mr. Jones Watches

The hands on this watch are in the form of two circles, one circle is labelled "what I want" and the other "what I need". As the circles move to mark the time, they form a Venn diagram. The shifting relationship that the diagram depicts between "wants" and "needs" is a way for us to think about the changing nature of our own desires and their fulfillment.

The watch is a tool for questioning ourselves - how does the diagram reflect the relationship between our own wants and needs?

This watch is only produced in an edition of 100 pieces worldwide, with each watch individually numbered on the case-back.
